The Client manages thousands of properties under multiple brands in the US and abroad. Historically, the Client’s payment transactions had high variation in interchange rates and chargeback ratios which were not explainable.
The Client was looking for extensive analytical reporting to show insights into the actual interchange data and segmentation tools in order to better understand the variations and cost drivers of interchange rates.
Aperia designed, developed, and delivered a comprehensive analytics solution which provides key metrics for managing interchange and chargebacks with drill down/drill up, segmentation by key property dimensions, and trending over multiple periods of time. With this solution, the Client is able to easily detect outlier data points in the underlying transactions and pinpoint issues with interchange and chargeback rates.
